Davi Barbosa Costa da Silva (Currículo Lattes / LinkedIn)
Davi Barbosa Costa da Silva joined PEBGA in 2016 linked to the Dam Safety line. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Marcelo Teixeira defended the dissertation entitled “STABILITY OF SLOPES: A CONTRIBUTION TO NUMERICAL ANALYSIS APPLIED TO DAMS USING THE ELEMENT-FREE GALERKIN METHOD”. During the course, the graduate worked as a substitute professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CAMTUC/UFPA. With his master's degree he entered the higher education career at that college, working as a permanent professor. In his testimony, Davi states that: Training at PEBGA was important for enabling access to information about dam safety and for guaranteeing the degree necessary for my entry into higher education as a teacher at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University Campus of Tucuruí. In his evaluation, the graduate was satisfied with the course, recommending it. The graduate's passage through PEBGA reiterates the relevance of offering quality training, so that professionals can enjoy unique opportunities for their work in the professional, academic or both spheres.
